Watch out Logan here she comes!

So most people know that living in Salt Lake is a bit of a struggle for me. :) Lets just put it this way, I am definitely a family girl. I miss my immediate and extended family in St. George so much. One of the things that made it bearable was my best friend/sister Nikki. Then she decides she needs to get up and move to Logan. :( She left only yesterday and there have already been many a tear shed. Nikki has always been there, whether it was entertaining Ella, going shopping, going out to lunch, lending me her wardrobe, just listening, entertaining me with stories from her exciting single life. I am going to miss her more than she will ever know. I know you're all thinking Logan is not that far away, but it's just not the same. We have been sidekicks ever since we were little. I am so proud of her and excited for her future. I know she is going to have a blast up at Utah State. All I can say is Logan better be prepared for what lies ahead! I love you Nikki and miss you already!

Does blogging make you happy?

I don't know about most of you, but every once in while I get a little depressed looking at other people's blogs. I see people with new houses, new cars, skinny moms, and the list could go on and on. I want to be a happy blogger. Today I read a post that inspired me to make a list of blogging rules for myself, many of which were taken from her post.

1. I will only read blogs that make me happy or inspire me. If I read a blog that makes me feel bad I will take it off my google reader.

2. I will be happy for other's success and remember that everyone is at a different stage and has different struggles. I will not compare myself with others.

3. I will
limit the time on the computer. I will remember most of blogging life is fake, it will skew your vision of your real life and what's really important.

4. I will be myself when I blog, and remember that comments aren't important.

* If anyone has any other good ideas please share!

Cereal Killer

No, this is not the cereal isle at your local grocery store. I debated whether I should do this post, frankly I am a little embarrassed and ashamed of my addiction. Sita referred to me in an earlier post as a cereal killer, and I must admit it is true. I can kill a box of cereal in a matter of days. I can eat cereal for every meal. My dad used to get so frustrated with me when I lived at home. He would make a nice meal and I would opt to eat my Cinnamon Life (my favorite cereal). Well needless to say you can imagine my delight when we stopped by Smiths to run in and grab some bread to feed the ducks and I saw a HUGE display of cereal and a sign that said 10 for $10! We started out by buying 10 boxes that day. Last night Sita came home with 10 more. I think he realized how good of a deal it was for how much I eat. The total savings for 20 boxes was around $60.00! And don't worry they don't expire for a whole year. So if there are any other cereal addicts out there, HURRY the sale ends today!

P.S. Don't worry Ella does not eat all this cereal, she is fed well balanced meals :).
